December is the best season to visit Hobart (and Tasmania). A light jacket is recommended for evenings and higher altitude. Check here for latest weather forcast.

VISA Information

AM&ST24 is registered with the International Event Coordinator Network (IECN) of the Department of Home Affairs. Please download the file below for Visa Advice from ICEN. For more information about visa requirements to enter Australia, please refer to the website of the  Department of Home Affairs according to your country and origin. If you would like IECN to assist timely processing by Australia's visa offices overseas, you can complete the bio-data collection sheet which the Symposium organisers will collect and email to IECN.

It is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least two months prior to departure from your point of origin. IECN assistance will NOT guarantee a visa grant. Visa applicants must demonstrate that they meet all the legislative requirements for an Australian visa.
